Positive: We like to support places owned and run by locals when making our bookings. Gladys' appartment is the perfect example of why: She went above and beyond to make us comfortable, help with our requests, and her appartment shows a meticulous attention to detail. Fully stocked and perfectly organized kitchen with every condiment and utensil. Excellent cleanliness with additional cleaning supplies and hygiene accessories provided. Nice, modern bathroom. Strong and clean air conditioner, and overall good climate in the appartment: not too much sun (34C outside) and easy fresh air using open windows for morning crosswind. Separate washer and dryer with detergent. Quiet bedroom and overall quiet, residential neighborhood. Very nice paintings. Some power sockets had USB charging built-in, and Gladys provided a few UK to EU power adapters. Affordable taxi service via multiple popular apps.
Negative: Dissapointing location: There is nothing realy nearby (shops, restaurants, night life) only residential houses. The bus stop is a 7 minutes walk around the whole block, and Malta bus service is not the best. (Despite having 4 bus lines near the appartment, sometimes all 4 show up at once, then nothing for 20 minutes, and the schedule can be random). The neighborhood parking spaces are taken by residents and are always full. The bed was too bouncy: We woke each other up all the time with even the slightest movement. The couches are not comfortable for sleeping, great for sitting though. The "extra room" is really a just a glassed off balcony ("loggia") with poor heat and sound insulation from the outside. The TV is too small for me.

Positive: Owner was very friendly and helpful, especially after I got a little lost when finding the place (she came to find me!) at 9 in the evening. Everything was communicated clearly and efficiently and Gladys checked in every couple of days to see if everything was okay.

Positive: Lovely host and property, I had a very good time here and it was a great place to explore Malta. Host was very friendly and helpful - very communicative and provided a list of helpful information for enjoying my stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Positive: For a couple or small family visiting Malta, the apartment is spacious and has everything you need. We found it to be immaculately clean, well-presented and well-equipped. There isn’t much of a view from the window… but if, like us, you just want a base to explore the island from, then it is absolutely ideal. The Convenience Shop around the corner has everything you need and there is a bus stop to get to Valletta (and elsewhere) a few minutes’ walk away. However, the best thing about this apartment is Gladys herself, who is incredibly helpful. We found her to be a most welcoming and friendly host, and ready to assist in any way she can. Although our stay was quite short (one week), we would thoroughly recommend this apartment to anyone planning a break in Malta.
Summary: Excellant, highly recommended.

Positive: The apartment is let by an incredibly friendly host, who checked in with me every so often to make sure that everything was OK. I was able to check in early and check out late (obviously, this will depend on when the next guests are arriving). As a bonus, she has a very friendly and intelligent conure, which was an unexpected surprise as I was checking in. He was very adorable. The apartment is very comfortable and feels like home. Any amenities you can think of are provided. The bread, fruit, cheese, etc. were a very welcome surprise. Thank you. The apartment is well located with quick access (less than 5 minutes) to one of the main bus routes in and out of Valletta. There is a convenience store nearby (a few minutes by foot), and if required, there is a supermarket within 15 minutes of walking distance. When I next visit Malta, I will definitely stay here again, and I have already recommended this apartment to a friend who is considering visiting.
